Influence policy

We aim to influence wider policy in issues involving employment, ethnic minorities, migrants and refugees and seek to challenge discrimination in all its forms. This is an on-going goal and one of our most recent successes was achieved by our CEO, Tunde Banjoko OBE, who is a member of the Ethnic Minority Advisory group.

As chair of the Procurement Project group he successfully lobbied to get the Department of Work and Pensions to adopt a number of recommendations and amend its Procurement Policy as regards diversity and equality issues. Through our participation in this group we are trying to persuade people to use the procurement process to achieve social outcomes.
