Will attending your workshop affect my benefits?
No because during the workshop you will be actively seeking employment and able to attend jobcentre appointments, sign on and job interviews. However although we work in partnership with many jobcentres in London some are not aware of our services. This is not a problem because in normal circumstances this issue can be resolved by a simple phone call. Please talk to a LEAP member of staff for further details.

What sort of training do you provide?
Our workshop focuses on “essential skills” – the all-important personal skills that you will need to get and keep any job.

Does it matter where I live?
As long as you’re unemployed, want to work and live in London, you are eligible for the workshop.

Do you guarantee that I’ll get a job as soon as I finish your workshop?
No! But we do guarantee that if you follow our programme, your chances of getting employment will be significantly enhanced.

Do you really have all these vacancies?
Yes we do. Our team spend hours securing vacancies and other work related opportunities (such as internships and work experience) for our clients.

What sort of jobs do you have on your books?
We work with a number of employers who provide us with a wide range of opportunities in different fields of work.

Can I apply for a role without doing the workshop?
No, attendance to our workshop is compulsory.

How many people have you helped into work?
We have helped approximately 5,000 people into employment.

Do I have to pay for the training?
No, it’s completely free but full-time attendance is compulsory.

Do you pay for travel?
We currently don’t pay for travel. However, we hope to get enough funding in the future to reimburse clients attending our workshop for their travel expenses.

Where are you based?
We are based in Kensal Green, north west London (very close to Kensal Green tube and train station as well as from the bus stops on Harrow Road).

How long is the training?
The workshop lasts 3 weeks, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Once you complete the training, you will continue to receive individualised support in your job search as well as have access to our Job Search room.

Do I have to attend every day of the workshop?
Yes. We hold different exercises every day targeting a broad range of issues so you must attend all the sessions.

Can I do the workshop part-time?
No. The workshop runs full-time during 3 weeks and attendance to the full training is compulsory. However, if you are unable to attend full-time, you should still contact us for individualised support.

Why do I have to dress smartly to attend the workshop?
The workshop will help you prepare to get the role you want, and we expect you to look the part as well as be prepared for it.

How many people are in any given workshop?
On average, there are 30-40 attendees in the workshop.
