India Gary-Martin
India is the Managing Director and Global Head of Location and Vendor Strategy at JP Morgan. She is recipient of Outstanding Contribution to Diversity from Women in Banking and Finance, Best Female Technologist from European Banking Technology Magazine and a Superior Service Award from Lehman Brothers. India was named in the Powerlist 2010, in the 100 of the most influential Black people in the UK.
Dean Ricketts
Dean is founder of The Watch-Men Agency. He has worked for the BBC, written for The Times and The Face, and participated in TV productions like the Windrush Gala. He also co-owns the hip independent publishing company – To Hell with Publishing.
Malcolm Horton
Managing Director and Global Head of Recruitment & Programmes at Nomura International plc. He oversees campus branding of the firm, sourcing and selection of candidates for wholesale areas of the firm globally, as well as their training and development as early tenured professionals within the organization. Malcolm graduated from Brown University in the US in 1991 with a degree in Organizational Behaviour & Management before joining JPMorgan in Investment Banking. After 2 years in New York, he was relocated to Caracas, Venezuela and Sao Paulo, Brazil for 5 years doing mergers and acquisitions. He subsequently moved to Johannesburg, South Africa to set up the local based Corporate Finance business where he spent 6 years before moving to London in 2005 to assume responsibility for Recruiting and Programme Management across EMEA. Malcolm joined Lehman Brothers in June 2006 and led graduate and lateral recruiting & programme management for all areas of the Lehman Brothers’ front office and infrastructure in the region. In October 2008 he was appointed to drive the global recruiting and graduate programmes for Nomura overseeing teams based on London, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He is also currently serving as a governor for Oaklands School in Tower Hamlets.
Joan Watson
Joan is a consultant in change management, corporate social responsibility and in the ethical arena; she is also a practising psychotherapist, counsellor and mentor. She is a sponsored speaker for the United Nations and a member of the Green Economics Institute. Joan is currently a Board member of V-inspired and the Star Foundation.
Joel Laryea
Joel started his career in the creative services department of renowned advertising agency Yellowhammer where his clients included Barclays Bank, Fiat and The Children’s Society. He then moved into the music industry as an artist manager, club promoter and record label consultant. During this time he worked on artist recruitment, development and marketing for labels such as Go Beat/Universal, Island and Disco Volante/Sony. Joel has always had a passion for enterprise and this has led him to found several businesses. He is active in the sports industry, particularly in football as a FA licensed players’ agent – focusing on youth player development; and running an international sports consultancy. Other interests include a marketing company that specialises in helping small businesses use the Internet to get more customers; and a real estate sourcing and investment firm.
Andy Boucher
Andy has specialised in corporate tax. After working over several years with Smith & Nephew as European tax manager and later with Andersen Consulting where he developed the EMEA tax function, he rejoined PwC in December 2000, focusing almost exclusively on international structuring for multi-national organisations. He’s been a partner in PwC since 2005. In 2009 he went on PwC’s responsible leadership program (“RLP”). He also works with a homelessness prevention charity called Cyrenians based in Edinburgh.
Dominic Gibb
With a career spanning over 23 years, Dominic has worked in Price Waterhouse, Unilabs Group, Balfour Beatty, Genesis Housing Group and since 2002 in Lehman Brothers where he is currently a Managing Director with responsibility for Financial Reporting. He also set up and led internal philanthropy committees introducing new programmes such as a business education programme in partnership with local schools.
