At a time when unemployment has risen to 2.1 million, LEAP finds itself threatened with closure due to a lack of funds. It is counter intuitive that an organisation like LEAP, with such a sterling track record in helping people from disadvantaged groups into employment, should be put in this situation.
LEAP is conducting a campaign to make people aware of the situation, because its service are needed now more than ever, and has featured recently in the media.
