We are pleased to announce that India Gary-Martin has joined the LEAP Board as the new Chair of the charity.
India took over took over on 24th March 2010, replacing Steve McCoy, who stood down after being in office since the charity’s inception.
India’s background in Financial Services spans nearly twenty years and three continents; North America, Europe and Asia. During India’s time at the Royal Bank of Scotland she led the Asset Protection Scheme for Global Banking and Markets, a role that placed her personal successes firmly on the critical path to recovery of RBS’ share price, and long term viability of the bank.
Today India is the Managing Director and Global Head of Location and Vendor Strategy at JP Morgan. In addition to her day job, India is a keen supporter of Diversity activities and has been awarded various awards for work in this space including: Outstanding Contribution to Diversity form Women in Banking and Finance, Best Female Technologist from European Banking Technology Magazine and a Superior Service Award from Lehman Brothers. India has been named in the Powerlist 2010, 100 of the most influential Black people in the UK and she is President of the City Women’s Network.
